A single Monarch butterfly screen printed onto hand-painted Saunders Waterford 300gsm paper.
This five-layer screenprint showcases an amazing creature notable for its instinctive annual migration of thousands of miles from parts of North America and Canada to Florida and Mexico.
This butterfly is believed to have been given its name in honour of King William III of England, as the butterfly's main colour is that of the king's secondary title, 'Prince of Orange'.

Paper size: Approx 12x12cm with hand-torn and deckle edges.
