Decorative panel made from the 'fold-up' leaf of a vintage table, saved from landfill, now art for the wall!...

Decorative panel made from the 'fold-up' leaf of a vintage table, saved from landfill, now art for the wall!

Painted in thick layers of paint . I have decorated this using an image from a Victorian photograph and the illustration from a Victorian seed packet, sourced and printed in fade-resistant ink, by myself. The text reads 'You can do hard things' in the colour of the undercoat. Distressed all over, in some areas back to wood. I aim to create the feel of a genuinely aged, bohemian piece.

Finally, varnished. I have added a wire hanger to the back so that this is ready to be hung on the wall.

Dimensions: 111cm L, 57cm H, 2cm thick.

Please note that this has been created using vintage materials and the wood may retain some of its original characteristics such as dinks and knocks.
