Stoneware mugs with octopus motive on the outside. The pinks range from more peach into delicate pink
Done by the method of scraffitto - (making a drawing by cutting into the unfired slip surface) or octopus hand painted with blue slip. The mugs have been fired 3 times - the last time after having real 24 carat gold applied and fired on.
Need to know
Please note that because of the gold, the mugs cannot be used in the microwave.
