Matches worth leaving out
Matches and matchboxes? Well, some of us just have a thing for them.
There are ceramic match striker pots with a rough band round the base, concrete and stoneware matchstick pots, oak matchboxes that can be engraved, marbled covers and lids painted with lobsters, birds, daisies and the moon. Fill one with long matches and there's no more hunting for a lighter.
All from independent UK makers. Pair one with a candle and you have a complete present, which is why they turn up so often at housewarmings and in stockings. Explore candles and home fragrance, mugs and coffee cups and gifts for her too.
