A limited edition letterpress art print celebrating the importance of thoughtful tree planting. 'Plant More Trees' seems to be the new mantra for life. A very good idea, go grab your spade!
Made with a fantastic 2-colour wooden typeface attributed to ‘Bonnewell’ makers in mid-late 19th Century London. A labour of love, this piece is printed in 4 separate hand-inked colour runs. The series of alternating leaf motif blocks were picked up at an architectural salvage yard in South London many years ago and if you look closely, you can see where a woodworm has made like a caterpillar and started ‘chewing on one of the leaves’!
