Art panel made from a piece of vintage table. This solid wood panel has been decorated using decoupage made from a Victorian postcard and a Victorian seed packet. Sourced and copied by me in fade-resistant ink and then I have painted thickly across the top in textured layers. The wording appears in the colours of the undercoat and reads 'we're all mad here' a quote from Lewis Carroll's 'Alice in Wonderland'.
Distressed all over to age it and to add further interest to the paint layers. This has been varnished and finally a wire has been fixed to the back so it is ready to hang on the wall.

Dimensions: 76cm long, 53cm high and 1.5cm thick.

Please note that this has been made from vintage materials, the wood may contain some of the original characteristics that it had when it was a table, such as dinks and knocks. This adds to the vintage charm.
