Need to Know
- Your robin knit kit includes: a full colour printed knitting pattern.
- 5 different colours of high quality, soft DK acrylic yarn.
- Polyester toy stuffing.
- Beads and thread for eyes.
- Cute knitted robin stickers.
- Knitting needles and darning needles are not included as many knitters already own a pair - but if you'd like to add these to your kit, pairs of 4mm and 2.75mm Pony aluminium knitting needles are £2.50 a pair, and a pack of 2 Pony or Hemline darning needles are £1.50.
- All kit and parcel packaging is plastic-free, and recyclable. Your kit will be sent by Royal Mail Tracked 24.
- The gift box measures 28cm x 19cm x 8cm.
- Albert the Robin is 11cm tall.
- Basic skills that you need to know: stocking stitch, increasing by knitting into the front and back of a stitch (inc 1) and decreasing by knitting 2 stitches together (k2tog).
- There’s colour-changing on some rows, so you will need to use Intarsia technique to change yarns mid-row.
- Is Albert suitable for beginners? Very much so.
- He is simply knitted flat on a pair of 4mm knitting needles, making him an excellent project for a beginner who knows the basics of knitting: no need to knit in the round.
