Need to Know
- Suitable for beginners. Barbara is simply knitted flat, making her an excellent project for a knitter who knows the basics: no need to knit in the round.
- Basic skills required: stocking stitch, increasing by knitting into the front and back of a stitch (inc 1) and decreasing by knitting 2 stitches together (k2tog).
- There’s colour-changing on some rows, so you will need to use Intarsia technique to change yarns mid-row.
- Kit includes: a full colour printed knitting pattern; 7 different colours of high quality, soft DK acrylic yarn; polyester toy stuffing; beads and thread for eyes; a blue tit button badge.
- Knitting needles and darning needles are not included.
- Add-on options: a pair of 4mm Pony aluminium knitting needles (£2.50); a pair of 2.75mm Pony aluminium knitting needles (£2.50); a pack of 2 Pony or Hemline darning needles (£1.50).
- All kit and parcel packaging is plastic-free and recyclable.
- Your kit will be sent by Royal Mail Tracked 24.
- The gift box measures 28cm x 19cm x 8cm.
