This Dachshund dog hanging decoration is a very special way to celebrate the dog you, or someone close to you, will always love.
When I lost my first dog, Marley, I was heartbroken. When my friend gave me a framed photo of Marley, that I had never seen before, it was truly one of the most thoughtful things anyone had ever done. These are the times when you experience people at their most thoughtful.

These wooden dog memory decorations are the perfect gift to send to someone who is grieving the loss of their dog. They are a happy representation of the dog, in the recognisable " Otto & Flow" style and a heartwarming way to remember that the bond between a dog and their human will never be lost as their memory lives on.

Need to know

All portrait decorations will be painted, on one side in the " Otto & Flow Style". The reverse side is paint a plain, co-ordinating colour. As you can see from the photos shared already, they will be side on on the size of dog outline as shown here. If your dog has particular markings, such as a grey muzzle and special colourings or patches these can be added.

Sending A Photo:
After you have placed your order, please use the Customer Contact Form on the Contact Us page and select ‘ I need to send images to the Co for a personalised product’ option. You’ll then be able to attach your images. You’ll also be reminded on how to send these within your Order Confirmation email too. If you could please send these within 24 of purchase so delivery time isn’t impacted.

Most dogs are painted side on and the overall shape, will be the same size and shape as the listing photo, but with your dogs features added. If you have more than one photo, please feel free to send me them as the more you send me, the better I will be able to represent the dog.

This Dachshund decoration measures 8cm from nose to tail. It is 4mm thick.

The decorations vary in weight between approximately 10g-15g depending on the breed and customisation.

Postage Destination and Gift wrap:
All orders come carefully gift wrapped in tissue. If you would prefer the portrait decoration to be send direct to the recipient, as a " letterbox gift" (within the UK only) then please let me know when you place your order, choosing the recipient's address address at checkout and I can send it direct for you.

The decoration is made from a light wood, sealed with a varnish on both sides and hung with grey and white twine.
Please see the range of photos which demonstrate the 2 options for twine colours - natural jute , and grey and white.

These portrait decorations are designed for indoor use only and are not designed as a toy.

Otto & Flow

Hi I'm Sally and welcome to Otto & Flow.

Combining my passion for painting, my love of dogs and especially my own dog, Otto, and the calm and meditative Flow that comes when I paint dogs. I created Otto & Flow to provide thoughtful artisan gifts for dog lovers, hand-painted in the recognisable Otto & Flow style.

My ethos is that your dog will always be part of your story and you of theirs so let's celebrate the wonderful bond that humans and their dogs have created.
