Need to Know
- This kit is suitable for beginners.
- Daisy and Sam are simply knitted flat, making them a relaxing project for a beginner who knows the basics of knitting: no need to knit in the round.
- Basic skills that you need to know: stocking stitch, increasing by knitting into the front and back of a stitch (inc 1) and decreasing by knitting 2 stitches together (k2tog).
- Kit includes: a full colour printed knitting pattern; 3 different colours of high quality, soft DK acrylic yarn; polyester toy stuffing; black felt and thread; white cotton thread; cute bird stickers.
- Knitting needles and darning needles are not included as many knitters already own a pair - but if you'd like to add these to your kit, pairs of 4mm knitting needles are £2.50 a pair, and a pack of 2 Pony or Hemline darning needles are £1.50.
- All kit and parcel packaging is plastic-free, and recyclable. Your kit will be sent by Royal Mail Tracked 24.
- The gift box measures 28cm x 19cm x 8cm.
- Each rubber duck is 11cm from beak to tail.
- Each bird knitting kit is carefully handmade and packed by me.

Your kit is handmade in the Scottish Highlands and includes all the yarn and notions. Just add your own 4mm knitting needles and a darning needle, and you're ready to start. No need to order all the different bits and pieces, you can sit back, relax, and knit straight away.
I think that relaxing in a long, warm bath is one of life's little luxuries - but I live in a house with a tiny bathroom. At least with a knitted rubber duck I can lie on the sofa and pretend that I'm up to my neck with bubbles.
