I have long been fascinated by the moon and the mythology and folklore that surround it. These lovely hanging moon decorations are handmade in white earthenware. The crescent moon is hand decorated with a little raised star on its cheek and the harvest moon and full moon feature transfers from my original drawings. Each has a magical sprinkling of gold lustre (containing 10% gold) on its cheeks.

Need to know

They look wonderful all year round and make very special Christmas decorations. Each moon comes in a lovely box so would make a perfect gift.

EAST Sussex

Hello,

I’m an artist and ceramicist creating unique, handmade pieces from my garden studio in rural East Sussex. My workshop is my sanctuary, where I come to be creative and escape the distractions of family life. I do allow the odd cat and my studio schnauzer Gertie in, but only if they promise not to break anything!
