- Suitable for beginners. Knitted flat on 4mm (UK 8/ US 6) knitting needles.
- Basic skills required: stocking stitch, increasing (inc 1) and decreasing (k2tog).
- Uses Intarsia technique to change yarns mid-row.
- Kit includes: a full colour printed knitting pattern; 5 colours of soft DK acrylic yarn; polyester toy stuffing; black beads and thread; cute stickers.
- Knitting needles and darning needles are not included. Add-ons: a pair of 4mm Pony aluminium knitting needles (£2.50); a pack of 2 Pony or Hemline darning needles (£1.50).

Nuthatches are such colourful and acrobatic birds, an incredible sight running up and down trees. Each bird knitting kit is carefully handmade and packed by me, and contains all the yarn and notions you need to knit a cuddly nuthatch friend. Simply add your own pair of 4mm knitting needles, a yarn darning needle and an ordinary sewing needle.
