This solid wood panel used to be a piece of table and is now art for the wall! Decorated in decoupaged collage of Victorian seed packets, all curated, copied and layered by myself. They are printed in fade resistant ink. I have then hand painted across the top to blend them together with thick layers and splashes of Chalk paint. The text reads in the turquoise of the undercoat: 'GROOVE IS IN THE HEART'. Heavily distressed all over to create the feel of an aged bohemian piece. Finally, varnished and with a wired hanger on the back so it is ready for the wall.

Dimensions: 91cm long, 59cm high, 2cm thick. This will be sent via Parcelforce express.

Please note that this is made from vintage materials and there may be original characteristics of the wood such as dinks and knocks that retain the charm of the history of the piece.

Hello, I’m Vikki, an upcycling artist from beautiful Dorset. I create statement décor from things that probably would have ended up in landfill. I combine imagery (the quirkier the better) with wording (sometimes sweary, always empowering) and bright paint colours and bring all of these components together in textured layers. I aim to create the feel of a genuinely aged, bohemian piece that not only recycles but will make you smile every time you look at it.
