Beautiful watercolour illustration of Buy the Weigh zero waste shop in Ticehurst. Part of my Ticehurst illustration series featuring five of my favourite small businesses in the wonderful East Sussex village. The perfect gift for a fellow Ticehurst lover, local resident, or for someone looking for travel inspiration.

These are some of my favourite places to visit in the charming village of Ticehurst. I hope you have lovely memories of the area and some of these wonderful places, and if not I urge you to visit and explore and support this wonderful corner of East Sussex.

Each illustration has been hand drawn then brought to life in watercolour with intricate detail. My artwork is full of character and detail and I paint the places that mean most to people, or to me, that tell a story. This might be something mundane, or a building you pass every day, but to someone else it might hold a treasure trove of memory and emotion, and this is what I love to capture.

The art of sending cards and hand writing notes and letters is rapidly dying out, but now more than ever it's so important to hold onto these cherished rituals. Receiving a card in the post from a friend or family member says so much, and knowing someone has taken the time to choose a card, write it and post it to you makes it mean even more. Let's keep this age old practice alive and make someones day with a little card.

Need to know

These five beautiful designs have been hand drawn and painted in watercolour by me, then digitised and printed to create this lovely original set of greetings cards. The cards are blank inside for you to write your own message and the back includes a small note with the name of the building.

Each card is A6 (148mmx105mm) portrait orientation, printed on white 350gsm paper and comes with a C6 envelope from 90gsm kraft paper.

The cards are packaged with a white band and arrive wrapped in recycled tissue paper.

Photo of Imogen Partridge, a white thirty-something female with mid brown hair tied in a pony tail, sitting at a table with her paint brush in her hand. She is looking to the right and smiling, whilst working on a watercolour illustration. She wears olive green dungarees and in the background which is slightly blurred is a white wall with a framed artwork poster on.

Telling stories through watercolour illustration, I bring your favourite buildings, places and things to life through intricately detailed watercolour illustration.

I love to surprise and delight, drawing attention to less obvious places or buildings. Capturing the character and charm of everything I paint, while championing small businesses and introducing some of my favourites through my illustrations, is another way I love to connect people through my work.
