Bring some joy to your home décor with this handmade floral wreath, featuring a baby barn owl sculpture.
This baby barn owl is made from handprinted papers, in white and warm copper brown and grey shades completely unique to him. His body and love heart shaped face are covered with hand cut feathers. He has black faceted bead eyes, a golden beak and beige feet. He is perched on a wreath adorned with mottled blue flowers, which have green middles, nestled in pairs surrounding him.

I use a variety of traditional printing techniques to give each of my sculptures their own colour palette, patterns and textures. If you own one of my sculptures, you can be sure that he is the only one of his kind. He is varnished with a UV protective lacquer, and the 300 GSM thickness paper ensures that he is robust and sturdy. I design and make my sculptures entirely by hand. They are intended to emulate the joy I find in our natural world, and to bring a bit of that majestic wonder into your décor. I do hope you like him!

This handmade owl sculpture wall hanging measures 21 cm (8 inches) tall and wide. The owl is 10 cm (4 inches) tall.

My last date for Christmas orders is Thursday 19th December, so that I can post on Friday 20th, to make sure they catch Father Christmas's sleigh.

Welcome to the paper sculpture menagerie. My name is Kate and I make handmade paper sculptures to bring cheer to your décor. Every one of my pieces is one of a kind, made from recycled 300 gsm paper (really sturdy cardstock). Each design is tested for durability, and they are varnished with a UV protective lacquer to seal their edges and protect their vibrant colours. Each sculpture is designed, individually printed, cut, assembled and embellished entirely by hand to make sure each and every one has its own unique character. Birds are my most favourite subject. I also make flowers and other wildlife. I am inspired by countryside walks and garden visitors. I often describe myself as a seasonal maker, as I can often be found at my desk making cosy pieces in the autumn and bright, cheerful blooms in the summertime. I’ve been making my sculptures for over 15 years now, and my work aims to evoke the joy I find in the great outdoors. I do hope they make you smile.
