Description

My graffiti London love hearts series is inspired both by my love of butterflies which come in all shapes, colours and sizes and never cease to amaze me, and by the graffiti and urban street art of East London...

My graffiti London love hearts series is inspired both by my love of butterflies which come in all shapes, colours and sizes and never cease to amaze me, and by the graffiti and urban street art of East London.
While walking around the vibrants streets of East London, I have taken photos of spray paint love hearts. I wanted to combine them with my digitally painted butterflies symbolising my love for nature.
Graffiti artists often use the canvas of the streets to convey messages to raise awareness for the environment and plight of our natural world.

Need to know

This is a from a small edition, printed, using archival pigment inks on German Etching Hahnemühle watercolour paper, hand finished with acrylic glazes and varnish and UV protection.
Framed size 23cm x 23cm in a St Ives square frame and comes ready to hang. Hand signed on the back.
