Need to know

This handprinted t-shirt is made using three different linocut blocks, and printed with red and black ink onto ochre yellow t-shirts. I source my unisex t-shirts from Stanley/Stella, a sustainable garment producer who create some of the highest quality clothing available. These t-shirts use 180gsm 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton and recycled materials.

Sizing:
Small: 36/38"
Medium: 38/40"
Large: 41/43"

Model pictured is 6' 2" wearing a small size t-shirt.

Linocut is a traditional block printing process which uses a hand-carved rubber stamp to apply a design to a surface (in this instance it's fabric). Ink is applied to the rubber stamp before printing each individual garment.

Due to the hand printing process, each print is a unique item so slight variations may occur. These are not flaws. As a handmade product it is never an identical replica of the product pictured. These inks will fade gently over time as you wash the garment.

Hi, I’m Paul, a Graphic Designer and Linocut Printmaker based in Cardiff.

I began experimenting with lino as a medium during lockdown, and I have found that linocut printing provides me with an enjoyable contrast to my digital-based day job. My background in design influences my work, helping me to explore the possibilities of physical composition.

When I’m not working, I’ll spend as much time as I can outside — cycling, hill walking or sea swimming.
