This 'one of a kind' basket has been made with beautiful natural white willow and is perfect for use as a small storage basket. Great also as a gift, this basket is ideal for holding exquisite Holly & Co treats.
As the 2025 Maker in Residence at Kelmscott Manor, the home of William Morris in Oxfordshire, Sarah Le Breton has been inspired by the pattern of the bark on her favourite willow tree at the manor, thus resulting in the creation of this lovely unique basket complete with bright red leather handles.
Handcrafted by Sarah in her Devon workshop, it is her aim to weave within each basket a magical combination of function, beauty and flow. Inspired by heritage baskets and the craft form that she loves, Sarah has taken time to design and develop each basket, in so doing creating for you original pieces that showcase traditional basketry techniques, highlighting the beauty of natural materials and making them perfect for modern living. Made using locally sourced Somerset willow, all of Sarah's basket collection embraces sustainability.

Handwoven by Sarah Le Breton, this basket has been crafted using the 'stake and strand' method, features a herringbone weave and showcases the rare English basketry method of a traditional underfoot tied slath base. Whilst showcasing our British craft heritage bright red leather handles and brass fixings bring a contemporary twist that complete this 'one of a kind' basket.

Only made using locally grown Somerset willow, the White Round Willow Basket is created using a variety called Black Maul. The willow is stripped of it's bark to reveal a creamy white natural willow that is both highly prized and silk like to weave.
Wrapped and delivered in as eco-friendly packaging as possible.
