Pair of ‘Lovely Leopard’ print Hand-painted Bedside cabinets

Beautiful pair of antique Bedside Cabinets with a modern twist. These are Edwardian, dating from around the 1900’s, so well made and good quality with some gorgeous design details. The cabinets are made from mahogany, sit on tapered legs with classic clean lines, and still have the original brass handles.

To add a contemporary twist, the doors have been refinished using decoupage and hand-painted details; a classic leopard pattern has been selected to compliment the classic, country house style of these pieces, where the design has been continued around the sides and down the legs to create a seamless and high-end finish. Each cabinet has been sealed with clear varnish to protect from wear or spills and the original mahogany tops, restored and then oiled with a hard-wearing wood oil to finish.

The interiors have also been replenished with a coat of dark green paint to compliment the exterior whilst the reverse of the doors have also been painted to compliment the overall design.

As mentionned these bedside cabinets are handmade and date from around the 1900's/1910's I would say, excellent quality and remain in really good vintage condition; to note these stand solid and the drawers and doors open smoothly.

Would look stunning in either a traditional or contemporary interior and great to find a matching pair. These are definitely giving the country house and luxury hotel feel and will make such a statement in your interior space. These are also entirely bespoke with a truly original design and so cannot be repeated exactly, if you are a homeowner who likes your space to feel individual and unique, then these are the cabinets for you.
