Perfect for adding flowers to your table or texture to your mantlepiece! This Bloom Vase is elegantly simple, but alluringly textural. Made from Parian Porcelain, a beautifully tactile clay with an addictively smooth matte finish. Available in five gorgeous colours, hand-carved and polished for super smoothness. The scalloped surface wraps around the piece, complimenting your favourite blooms and adorning your living space. Each piece is completely made by hand by Elle in her Leicester Studio.
Ps. If you turn this piece over, you'll find it's birthday carved into the base!
Approx dimensions: W10 x H20.5cm
Dishwasher safe but this piece usually only needs a light hand wash.

My name is Elle and I run Speckled Grey.
I love to make satisfyingly tactile wares to celebrate everyday life. My work is all about bright, matte colours and soft, hand-carved textures. I work by slip-casting with silky Parian porcelain and polishing up each piece to be huggable in your hands. This creates a soothing but vibrant aesthetic to cheer your senses and help create a home you adore.
After my degree, I spent ten years as a delftware painter whilst honing my skills as a maker. I'm continuously learning about this brilliant material and tweaking and refining my practice all the time. I’ve been lucky enough to see my work visit some wonderful places and I hope you find something to treasure here!
