Huge, thick ply wood panel painted in thick layers of paint and decoupage. The decoupage is an antique image, printed in fade resistant ink. I have then hand painted across the top in thick layers. The text reads in the orange colour of the undercoat; 'GO ON AN ADVENTURE'. Heavily distressed all over to create the feel of an aged bohemian piece. Finally, varnished and with a wired hanger on the back so it is ready for the wall. I make all my own decoupage materials so this is a one off!
Dimensions: 64cm long, 90cm high, 2cm thick. This will be sent via Parcelforce express.

Hello, I’m Vikki, an upcycling artist from beautiful Dorset. I create statement décor from things that probably would have ended up in landfill. I combine imagery (the quirkier the better) with wording (sometimes sweary, always empowering) and bright paint colours and bring all of these components together in textured layers. I aim to create the feel of a genuinely aged, bohemian piece that not only recycles but will make you smile every time you look at it.
