This lovingly handmade tea cosy is sure to be a real conversation piece with its witty play on words and dash of sparkle. As a 'Woman of a certain age', I believe we should stand proud and shout about our wins in life. HRT (for me) has been one of them, with bells on! This cosy is made using a modern take on a craft called 'crazy patchwork', the gold crown and piping giving it a contemporary, slightly kitsch feel. This patchwork tea cosy is completely handmade, using 90% recycled materials (the wadding is fire regs. certified, so new, as are the gold seed beads), I aim to use as many reclaimed fabrics and trims as possible, to keep landfill to a minimum and, hey, who doesn't like a bit of recycling! With this in mind, patchwork fabrics may vary, meaning each product is truly a one-off. Sourcing the fabric, some of which is vintage, and lovingly piecing each tea cosy together is part of the joy for me, and I hope this will reflect in the finished product and put a smile on your face every time you use it! I aim to use cotton fabrics, but sometimes an amazing bit of vintage fabric or trim is too good not to sneak in. Dimensions: 30cm x 23cm. Each cosy is fully lined and sumptuously padded. This product can be spot cleaned with a gentle laundry detergent.
