Credentials
The single-serving version of the Large Oak Bread Board. Each one comes with a vintage butter knife, combining to make a beautiful gift for toast lovers everywhere! Whether serving a lunchtime sandwich, cheeses or cake, this toast shaped serving board conjures up that feeling of home, and makes food look delicious.
Handmade, using solid oak that has been locally salvaged. Once cut to shape, the boards are charred round the edges, to give the toasted look. They are then sanded and rubbed down with a natural oil. Using only salvaged wood, fire and natural oils in the making process means that these boards are also environmentally friendly.

Hi, I’m Hayley - a maker, obsessed with cooking, and seeing food beautifully presented.
I’ve been transforming wood, fabrics, and furniture for over 20 years, working mainly on commissions and with chefs and event designers.
Since moving to the UK in 2016, Yakisugi (or charring) has been the focus of my work.
Each item in my wooden tableware collection is designed to accentuate the colour and texture of food, as it contrasts so beautifully with the charred wood.
