Learn how to make your very own wire 3D Dachshund sculpture with this easy to follow step-by-step kit, for beginners and experts alike!

In this kit you’ll have all you need to create a standing 3D Dachshund sculpture, created with either Black or Copper craft wire. A very simple and fun method of bending and twisting two thicknesses of wire together allows you to “draw” in 3D space, challenging your brain in new way that results in such a rewarding final piece you can keep for yourself or gift to friends and family. Once you’ve made one, you’ll want to make loads more!

There is enough wire in your kit to make two Dachshund sculptures. Finished Dachshund sculpture measures Approx 21cm in length.

A fully spiral bound 300gsm covered booklet with all the templates and easy to follow step-by-step instructions to guide you through

Mini Long nosed pliers

Two 4m spools of 1mm thick copper craft wire (choose colour of wire when ordering)

One 15m spool of 0.5mm thick copper craft wire

Make sure to choose which colour wire you would like in your kit, there is a choice of Black or Copper coloured craft wire.

Once you have made a couple of wire Dachshunds you’ll have the skills you need to make whatever your imagination can come up with! All the skills are fully transferable to create any 3D sculpture you can think of.

Once the wire structure is there you can add tissue paper, thread, paper or any other covering you can think of to add more life and creativity to your sculpture.

All of Zack’s paper sculptures he makes have this very wire structure beneath them, a nice quick and simple way of creating form, with enough strength to be a base for other materials. once you have this skill, maybe you can grab a paper kit and learn how to cut feathers and before you know it, you too will be making a paper menagerie!

Time to create your wire Dachshund will vary, approx 2-3 hours to make one.

Not suitable for children under 12 due to sharp edges of wire once cut.
