Description

Who doesn’t love a wren? They are so beautiful and their song is incredibly powerful for such a tiny creature.

This original bud vase is cut from reclaimed timber and it holds a single glass test tube to make a tiny, but perfect, bud vase.

Ideal for holding a few small stems from the garden, or that single bloom that you want to enjoy up close for a few days.

Need to know

These vases are made from offcuts of reclaimed wood and therefore each base will be slightly different in size.

The test tube is removable and should be taken out to fill with water. Flower stems not included.

This item can be gift boxed.

Kettle of Fish Designs

YARM, North Yorkshire

Hi, I'm Karen and I'm the sole pair of hands behind Kettle of Fish Designs.

My work has a distinctive style - it's made for homes which have a personality that develops over time and doesn't necessarily follow trends. Many of the materials I use are recycled, reclaimed, repurposed or upcycled and this enhances the distinctive character that you only get from handmade.

I combine vintage imagery with a rustic aesthetic, so my pieces really suit environments that combine inherited pieces, quirky collections and secondhand finds.
