A pop of retro colour for your Christmas tree (or a lovely folksy decoration for any time of year!). Inspired by my experiments with shape and free mark-making, each of these decorations is hand painted in my studio, using vibrant inks and coloured pencil...

A pop of retro colour for your Christmas tree (or a lovely folksy decoration for any time of year!). Inspired by my experiments with shape and free mark-making, each of these decorations is hand painted in my studio, using vibrant inks and coloured pencils on 3mm birch ply, sealed for use inside and strung with jolly thread in bright complimentary colours. They're double-sided, and as they're hand made, each one is unique.

Choose from a set of three in blue/green or red/yellow colourway (as these items are handmade, expect variations!). Each set includes one circle (approx 8cm) and two star decorations (approx 7cm). Each decoration is carefully wrapped in tissue ready for you to display or send on with love.

Need to know

Each decoration is hand painted in my studio in Scotland, on 3mm birch ply laser cut in the UK. Each piece is double-sided. As each is hand-decorated, expect variations in pattern and design.

I'm an illustrator, designer and author with a love of pattern, wiggly lines and colourful, joy-filled homes. I hand-make richly patterned paper bird mobiles in my home studio, and design greetings cards, papergoods and jolly enamel mugs for you to use in your own home or gift with love.

I'm often inspired by family life and that special place of play and wonder that small children are immersed in and us adults are often seeking to rediscover. My wish is that my designs spark happiness, create connection and bring a little bit of retro nostalgia wherever they go.
