The design was carved from salvaged Lino and is printed on handmade Nepalese Lokta paper.
All my designs are carved and printed by hand and every single one of them is a unique reproduction. Naturally subtle variations in the inking and finish will occur from print to print, when you buy a hand pulled print you are choosing these subtle variations over digital reproductions.
Lokta is a native plant of the Himalayan foothills. It is a sustainable and renewable resource, plants are cropped above ground level and can be reharvested after 3-4 years. The papers are made using the traditional Nepalese floating mould method and sun dried on the frame.
Dimensions: 80 X 50 cm
I use non toxic professional lightfast printmaking inks and wrap all my prints in plastic free packaging.
Order is just for the print shown on handmade paper and does not come with wooden magnet hanger.
