Description

Ceramic Heart Decorations glazed in ‘Aqua Watercolour’ with varied tones of blue, green, turquoise and hints of white and cream.

These heart charms make perfect hanging decorations for your home or a heartfelt gift to a friend or loved one.

These decorations are crafted from stoneware clay and glazed by hand. Each piece is finished with a velvet ribbon.

Each piece is unique and may vary very slightly from the photo.

My work is crafted at my home studio in West Berkshire, UK. Each piece is unique and bears the signs of the handcrafted process; the press of the thumb and the turn of the wheel.

Each piece is crafted from stoneware clay either by hand or on the pottery wheel, then dried and trimmed to shape. Each piece is then bisque fired in the kiln, glazed and fired a second time. I then sand and clean each piece prior to sending out. Pottery is a long process with each piece taking a week or two to complete. It is a labour of love.

All items are sustainably gift wrapped as standard with ribbon and dried flowers.

Enjoy!

I create unique contemporary ceramics from my garden studio in West Berkshire.

My focus is on functional ceramics for the modern family home, robust enough for daily use, but also design focused and distinct in form and finish. I work mainly with stoneware clay on the wheel but also create hand-built items with a more organic feel.

I have recently launched a new range of bathroom basins alongside my ceramic home and tableware.

I love the tactile nature of clay and enjoy working with textured clay bodies. I like to keep my glazes playful, and use colours ranging from calming aqua hues to bursts of bright colours here and there.

Another passion of mine is styling and photographing my ceramics with fresh blooms from the garden. My work is very much connected to the nature surrounding me, and I am inspired by the changing seasons outside my studio door here in rural Berkshire.
