A mama and a maker. My children have inspired this business, and my designs, from the moment they were born. From a first time mother who couldn’t find unique and tonal decor pieces, to a second time mummy with a lockdown baby- each maternity leave helped build The Neutrals Nursery.

Children’s room decor used to be relatively generic and colour wise either cream or rainbow brights. I couldn’t find what I wanted and so I searched high and low to find something a little bit different. Instagram was a huge source of inspiration and allowed smaller, independent businesses to come to the forefront. Scandinavian influences, the use of natural materials and tonal colour palettes caught my eye instantly, and inspired me to become part of the developing scene.
